Special People No Longer Here — Celebrating Lives Well Lived
Sadly, this is a growing playlist, and many other special people deserve a place here, but only those whose lives I happened to capture on film can be included. The others remain just as important in my memories, even if no video record exists.
Over more than fifty years I have been fortunate enough to meet and work alongside many talented and dedicated individuals. Some became close friends, some were mentors, and some were internationally recognised figures within their chosen fields.
They are Simon Ames OBE, Brian Angliss, Roger Hargreaves, Denis Sargent Jenkinson ("Jenks"), Ernest Smith, Julian Grimwade, Alastair Pugh, Tony Amos, Maurice Jones, Peter Burton, and Percy Lambert.
These individuals came from very different backgrounds, yet they shared a common passion for preserving history, encouraging others and passing on knowledge.
Many of the projects featured elsewhere on this channel would never have happened without their knowledge, encouragement, friendship and support.
